Do you offer a warranty for your work?
We stand by our products and services 100%, and we provide a 5-year warranty free of charge.
Do I need to get permits or is that covered under the repair/work costs?
Any permits or inspections needed to complete the job are covered in our fees and handled accordingly.
Will you install owner provided parts?
Yes we can, however warranty will only cover workmanship.
Are you licensed, and can I see the number?
Yes — Silverback Plumbing & Drain is licensed through Mark Vargas, Responsible Master Plumber #43333, licensed by the Texas Board of Plumbing Examiners. Any San Antonio plumber should be able to give you a license number on request; if they can’t, that’s worth treating as a red flag before any work begins.
Will I get a price before any work starts?
Yes. Every job starts with a diagnosis, not a guess — we identify the actual problem first, then give you a clear, written price before any repair, replacement, or installation begins. You’re never billed for work you didn’t agree to in advance.
Is this actually a repair, or do I need a full replacement?
We’ll tell you honestly, based on the age and condition of the unit or line in question — not based on which option costs more. If a repair will reliably solve the problem, that’s what we recommend; if the unit’s at the point where repairs are just delaying an inevitable replacement, we’ll explain why and let you decide with full information either way.
